What is pirkx?

Pirkx is a well-being platform that provides individuals and businesses a range of benefits and savings for people to make their money go a bit further and improve their health.


Companies, Associations, Charities, Clubs and Public Sector bodies can offer their members pirkx regardless of their employment status. They can join for free and pay for their members or they can offer access on a self-pay basis.


If you are self-employed you can join pirkx and access all of the amazing benefits too.


Prices are £4.50 per month, £12 per quarter or £45 per year per member.


Who can join pirkx?

The short answer is – everyone! And your family gets access through your subscription too.


What are the pirkx benefit?

We have a wide range of benefits covering the five pillars of Health; Wealth; Education; Recognition and Social. They include:


  • 24/7 GP booking service

  • 24/7 dedicated telephone counselling service

  • Discounted gym membership

  • Guidance on financial wellbeing

  • Free entry to a monthly lottery, where you could win up to £3,000

  • Discounted travel money, travel currency and international payments


Does the 24/7 GP service provide referrals and prescriptions?

Yes! Where necessary, the GP can issue a private prescription for you and this can be collected from a pharmacy or delivered directly to you.

What is pirkx rise?

pirkx rise is an additional service you can add to your pirkx account for a small fee. The service offers personalised advice and access to mental health; financial and legal experts. You will be offered this addition during your sign up journey.

Does pirkx provide health insurance?

How do the discounts work?

All of our online discounts are available from our online partners, providing you with the absolute best deals and giving you more bang for your buck with each shop.


Online direct discounts can either be discounts on the check-out price or cashback offers added to your own pirkx cashback account.


To get the discount, you can access the retailer's website via pirkx, and the discount will be automatically applied, or you can enter the voucher code at check out. Simple.


As for cashback offers, the cashback amount will be automatically applied after checkout on the retailer's website. The cashback amount will be added to your pirkx cashback account and can then be transferred to your bank account once you’ve got a balance over £5.

Reloadable Cards

These are physical cards that members can deposit money onto and use in-store or online. These cards are ordered online via pirkx; can be used alongside any Retailer loyalty cards; and can be set to automatically top up monthly.


These cards also have cash back – which is provided once you deposit money onto the card, for example, loading £100 to a card with 4% cashback provides a cashback amount of £4.


The cards are reloadable so a single card can be used multiple times by either reloading them on the pirkx site or using an automatic top-up.

Multi-retailer reloadable cards

In addition to accessing our range of pirkx discounts via the ‘Shop in Store’ and ‘Shop Online’ methods outlined above, there are also multi-store cards available on pirkx.


These cards offer cash back across over 120 High Street brands across fashion, technology, books, beauty, games and so much more.

Digital vouchers

Once you’ve got a pirkx account, you and your family can purchase and download vouchers to spend in-store or online. Digital vouchers provide cashback similarly to reloadable cards.


These vouchers are ordered online via pirkx and emailed straight to you. You’ll also get cashback when purchasing the voucher, for example: when ordering £75 worth of vouchers with 10% cashback, you’ll get a cashback amount of £7.50.


You’ll find your total cashback amount in your pirkx cashback account, which can be transferred to a bank account once the balance is over £5.


The voucher can be used in-store or online and can be used alongside any retailer loyalty cards.

Can I join for just a month?

Of course, the only commitment you have is the payment frequency that you choose – we’ll never be the wolf at your door.

Do I get anything if I introduce a friend or business to pirkx?

Absolutely. We will give you two pounds for every paid member per annum. If they choose monthly or quarterly payments instead, your introducer fee will be pro rata.

Business

What are trivial benefits?

If you are a business using the pirkx platform. HMRC have some fairly strict rules when it comes to what they define as ‘trivial’ benefits. You don’t have to pay tax on benefits for your employees if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The benefit doesn’t cost you £50 or more to provide (including VAT)

  • The benefit isn’t cash or a cash voucher

  • The benefit isn’t a reward for your employee’s work or performance

  • The benefit is not part of any contractual obligation with your employee

  • Free entry to a monthly lottery, where you could win up to £3,000

  • Discounted travel money, travel currency and international payments

What if someone leaves the company?

If you need to remove a membership, simply unclick the 'renew' tick box next to the member’s name on your pirkx corporate dashboard.


Can I block corporate content so leavers can’t see it?

Yes, there are several types of layouts available which can be selected for each member. For instance, you can decide to have a different page for employees, and clients and just the general pirkx overview for anyone that is leaving the company.

Are there any setup costs?

Troubleshooting

What should I do if my team member invites are pending and their email addresses have been flagged?

When this happens it usually means that some of the email addresses you’ve inputted for your team members is incorrect – we would have sent you an email on how to resolve this issue, but just in case you missed it, all you have to do is go back into your admin account and change the flagged email addresses.

What should I do if I can’t log in to my pirkx account?

If you have reset your password and still cannot log in to your account please call us on 020 4586 6417 or email us at hello@pirkx.com and we’ll get your access back up and running in no time.

What should I do if a discount doesn’t work?

If this happens, please contact our customer service team on 0345 561 0131 or email customersupport@pirkx.com who will look into this for you.

How do I link my bank account to pirkx?

Head over to our savings page and look for our ‘frictionless benefits’ on the right – from there click the button to link your bank account. Alternatively, click this link: Benefit - Savings On Shopping (pirkx.com)

How do I change the owner/name on my admin account?

Log into your admin account and click the settings option, from there click on the ‘your email address and change password section’ and click update, once you’ve made your changes just click confirm and you’re done. You can also change your password anytime while in this section.

How do I cancel?

We would be sorry to see you go, but it's really simple to delete your account. Go to the settings page and press the ‘delete’ button. Your account with all your data will be removed from pirkx.

How long is the pirkx membership?

f you are paying for your pirkx membership, you can choose to pay monthly, quarterly, or annually. There is no commitment beyond the payment frequency you choose.


If you want to end your membership, you can do so at any time by going to the ‘my details’ page and either un-renewing your membership or deleting your account.


However, if you are within 3 days of your next payment date we will be unable to cancel your membership payment. If the payment is successful, we will extend your membership for a further payment period based on the frequency of your payment (e.g. monthly, quarterly, or annually).
